Program:

Group Study Exchange Team

Five Polish members from District 2230 (Poland, Belarus and Ukraine) joined us to speak about their Rotary work and their lives:

- Tomasz Wicentowicz, team leader, is a mechanical engineer from Warsaw, and charter member of the W-Jozefow club since 1991.

- Jozefina Bartyzel of Grudziadz is a junior manager for a theater in her home town and has started working on her doctorial dissertation on philosophy of culture.

- Grzegorz Butkiewicz is from Gietrzwald and works for the forestry agency

where he is responsible for the sale of timber and the computer systems.  He enjoys many hobbies, including playing guitar, entomology, hiking and travel.

- Tomasz Pater from Gdynia, finished Architecture Faculty at Gdansk University of Technology in 2008 and now works with an architectural firm where he strives to achieve a combination of beauty and functionality.

- Joanna Podciechowska is also from Warsaw. She just finished medical school and currently is in a course of specialization in internal medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, sailing, fitness training, swimming and biking.

 

Megabucks:

Someone had the ticket, (I don't recall who) but did not pick the King of Hearts.  $138 pot rolls over.
