Announcements:

Sean             Xmas turkey collection netted $1336, enough for 200 turkeys. 30 will be delivered on Monday to the Lee Church, 40 to St Thomas More, and 80 to Newmarket.  A note will be placed in each basket stating that the turkey came from our Rotary Club. 

 

       Henry            Boot & Shoe fund explained.  This winter, Henry has signed

       seven vouchers for Durham schools; Newmarket has six.

 

        Pres. Rich    Signup sheet for Prayer and Scribe is circulated.  The venue

        for the next Rotary meeting is UNH Alumni Center.  After that, they are all at

        the Three Chimneys.

Program:

Noreen Biehl, VP for Community Relations, Wentworth-Douglass  

   Hospital

Our speaker, spouse of Frank, spoke about the past, present and future of WDH, including an historical review, capabilities, and new capital plans.  Her statistics showed WDH to be the busiest hospital in the Seacoast.  The many community outreach activities of the hospital were highlighted.

 

Megabucks:

Candace had the ticket but pulled the 3 of spades.  Pot rolls over.
