Marina's Miles 5K Race 2017 Apr 8, 2017 Durham Great Bay Rotary was the Major Sponsor for this event and we had a great time helping on the day of as well, with some morning setup and giving out water at the 5K water station.
  Sweet Trail Bridge May 15, 2016 Club members replaced planking opening up the trail again on May 15th.
  Memorial Garden May 14, 2016 The Memorial Garden of the Hyder Family Hospice House was dedicated in a moving ceremony. Photos show the bench we donated.
  QuackFest 2016 May 7, 2016 Great time was had by all as we watched the ducks race to the finish for cash prizes. All proceeds benefit local Rotary projects. Thanks to Durham Fire Department, Newmarket HS Interact Club, UNH Rotaract Club, and McGregor Ambulance for their assistance.

Boodey Rock Restoration Project Sep 3, 2014 Members gathered to affix a new plaque and clean up the grounds at historic Boodey Rock in Madbury.
4th of July Celebration Jul 11, 2013 Families by the hundreds came to have fun on the giant slide and bounce house, make kids crafts, eat fair food, meet their friends, and spread out blankets for a great fireworks show.
7th Annual QuackFest May 4, 2013 Hundreds of ducks raced leisurely down the Oyster River at Durham Landing. Race winners collected prizes for their owners from area merchants. Children enjoyed all the activities while the Oyster River Middle School Jazz Band and NH Notables serenaded the large crowd. PHOTO
GSE Team Nigeria Apr 23, 2013 Special needs education was the common denominator of this team from Abuja and Ibana. Hosted by Rotarians in Durham, Hampton and Exeter, they learned how our society functions and met with their vocational counterparts Apr 23 to Apr 28.
Delivery to Newmarket HS faculty food drive Christmas Turkeys Dec 20, 2012 3,600 lbs of turkey were delivered to Cornucopia, Lee Congregational Church, Newmarket HS, and St Thomas More food pantries for their food baskets.
Longmarsh Preserve Project Dec 1, 2012 Using timbers provided by Durham DPW, members reconstructed two bridges on the Sweet Trail, Durham.

Crutches4Africa Oct 13, 2012 Crutches donated by community members were cleaned and bundled for shipment to Africa on a crisp morning in mid-October. Included were 130 pairs of crutches, 3 wheelchairs, and an assortment of canes.

Senior --- Accepts $1000 Scholarship from Durham-Great Bay Rotary Club President-elect George Rief 2012 Scholarship Presentation Jun 7, 2012 Graduating Senior Lacyrose Dickinson receives a $1000 scholarship from President-elect George Rief of the Durham-Great Bay Rotary Club. Ms Dickinson was President of the Newmarket HS International Action (Interact) Club. She plans on attending Embry-Riddle U. in the fall.
