Vocational and Youth Service is the avenue of service which allows Rotarians to share their skills and expertise as leaders in the businesses and professions which they represent in the community. It provides Rotarians with the encouragement to promote the highest ethical standards in their occupation, the opportunity to express their recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and a means to fulfill their responsibility to contribute their vocational talents to address the problems and needs of society.
The Vocation and Youth Service Committee is responsible for administering the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program, the College Scholarship program, and the Rotary Youth Exchange program.
The committee also serves as the liasion to the Rotaract Club at the University of New Hampshire and the Interact Clubs at Oyster River High School and Newmarket High School.
