Dave talked about Marina’s Miles.  Scholarship this year is awarded to Neeley Roy. 

 
Emma Bodwell District Governor - Proposal - Creation of one district from from 2 current to add northern NH and Vermont and part of Quebec.  It is not a merger but a creation of one district.  There will be 75 clubs at the end with 2300 members.  The target date is July 1, 2029.  Membership is trending downward. The general governance of the district will not change.  The Club will still be independent. The majority of the changes will be at the District Leadership level. If we do not take action at this time, Rotary will take other action in the future.  Votes are due June 15. Google form for sharing feedback. Tom - motion to vote in favor of the new district, 2nd by Will.  Passed unanimously.
 

Announcements

Highway cleanup is completed.  Fall date will be announced later in the summer.
 
We gave 1500 Ducks to Barrington Schools.
They are doing a program “Have a Ducky Summer”.
Each kid is getting a duck and will take it on adventures all summer and report back in the fall.
 
 

Barrington dedicated the new Community Center Tuesday and shared the support of GBR.

June 17 Barrington Pavilion - Changeover dinner 5pm - No regular meeting that morning.

June 6 - Longmarsh Trail in Durham - meet at 8am.
