Phil. Marina’s Miles requires over 100 staff. It’s too big a project for us to take on and the club decided not to.
Anon. RYLA (now Rotary Youth Leadership Academy) will be approached at Newmarket High School through our Interact Club there. Kerry is our liaison to that club and Danielle has experience with Interact. Between the two of them, we have a good chance of building interest in the program amongst our sophomores.
Alexx. Has volunteered to coordinate club member contributions to the potluck menu for the dinner at Powder Major Farm on Jan 4th from 6 - 8 PM.
Scott Schaier. Durham resident and guest is working with Ric to get the Youth Exchange administration done for an Inbound student from the Netherlands (there is no financial impact associated with that student). We are working with district on identifying an Outbound student to complete the exchange. Let us know if you are aware of a student who would like to do a year abroad (application deadline is Jan 15th). Financial impact of the Outbound student is relatively minor. Scott also has an interest in joining the club.
