Pres-elect Steve: We have an invitation to join Toastmasters International which is offering a course for Rotarians and Rotaractors who are looking for opportunities to improve their public speaking skills.  (The closest club is "Tri-City" which meets at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 7 PM in the Dionne Conference Room.) ... WASH's 2nd seminar on its water, sanitation and hygiene work will be on Jan 18th from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at Cabela's ... There will be a workshop on membership at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital on Feb 1st from 8:30 AM - noon ... The annual World Understanding and Peace Dinner will be at the Sable Oaks hotel on Feb 20th.

Ric: In view of the absence of a quorum for a vote on the slate of officers for 2020-2021, he'll conduct it by email this week.

Tom B: We're looking at cross-membership with Kiwanis ... United Way has a bulletin board we can post on; often their bulletin board entries end up in the newspaper.

Phil: He uses 3x5 cards to note people he knows who would make good speakers - he's up to 19; they might also make great recruits.

Tom B: A reminder that we have a hockey game on Saturday.  We have two more hockey weekends on the schedule as well ... The Dover bowling alley is being converted to a gambling hall.  The gambling outfit has the same obligation to support local non-profits as the Seabrook outfit we're already registered with.

Andy: Dover Rotary is moving into the bowling alley soon.  Check their website before making up there.

Bill: Next year we'll use a sign-up sheet for the pick up and delivery of turkeys and hams to ensure that we have enough people to help at both ends.

Megabucks: $18.50
