Pres. Tom: We have a thank you note from Friends Forever for our contribution.  We are one of 24 clubs supporting its work ... A reminder the Home Show is coming up the weekend of Apr 6th and 7th at the Whittemore Center.  The volunteer sign-up page is on our webpage ... Mark your calendar for Wed, Feb 27th.  We'll have a social for members, their partners and potential members.  It will be in lieu of our morning meeting that day.  Location and time to follow.

Bill D: He's cut out enough pieces to make 40 bluebird houses for sale at the home show.  We'll set up a crew for assembly.

David: Marina's Miles is also coming up on the morning of Apr 6th.  As a key sponsor, we'll be doing the water station again, and helping with the doings in the ORHS gym.  A scholarship will be awarded from the proceeds.

Anon: The final draft of the letter to sponsors for the 4th of July Celebration is circulating for comment.

Andy: We have a thank you note from Rotaract for our $620 contribution to offset the expenses connected with their work project in Puerto Rico.  They'll join us on Apr 3rd to show us what they accomplished while there.

Program
Gina gave us her classification talk.  She lived with her grandparents for years when her father was serving tours in Vietnam.  Her grandmother was a founder of Great Bay Services providing support to adults with disabilities in the Seacoast since the 1960's.  Gina often chipped in running the program, and helping others became a theme in her life from this experience.

Gina's professional life started at Pease working at a little bank there.  After she married, they moved to New York state where she found work in a bank in Highland, across the river from President Roosevelt's home at Hyde Park.  She says that ended when the FBI came in one morning and removed a large number of safe deposit boxes rumored to have a connection to the Mafia.  She returned to Newfields to raise two daughters and two step children.  Each of her daughters has given her a grandchild now.

While raising her family, she worked with autistic children for six years, in Americorps for another, and advocated for Safe Place clients in court.  She returned to banking with TD which was robbed twice while she was there.  She found Federal Savings was a better fit for her inasmuch as it supports local charities.

Gina enjoys cooking and photography, and likes to travel with Domenick every Fall to places like Ireland, Spain and the UK.

Is it the truth?  Is it fair to all concerned?  Will it build good will and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
