Announcements
We voted to add the Sargent of Arms to the Board of Directors.
We started to the process to create a "Committee for Community Outreach". Chuck volunteered from Madbury and Will volunteered from Barrington.
We donated moneys to 5 Food Pantries in the area. Ways, St Thomas, Lee Church, Newmarket Pantry and End 68 Durham.
We discussed purchasing more masks, it was decided that we should not at this time. We still have some available from the first order. It was offered that if members need them, contact Stephen.
We talked about trying to work more with Celebrate Durham.
We accepted Prof Drogin as a new member.
Speaker
Chris Lemelin of McGregor Memorial EMS. They provide EMS services to Durham, Lee, Madbury community. He discussed the groups need for a new station, temporary move to Putnam Hall, Durham, and response to the COVID-19.
