Bill: Durham is looking to get some work done on the Doe Farm preserve. This will be a Service Project and more information will be provided as soon as we're organized.
John: Briefed us on the status of the execution of the budget. Fundraising has put the Charitable Budget in good shape, and the Operational Budget is tracking well.
President Tom: Reminded sponsors of the need to mentor the new members they sponsored ... Reminded new members of the $500 that is still on the table to support a community need only they can identify ... Asked for comment on the practice of dropping the first Wednesday of the month for club meetings. Several comments suggested the value of a full schedule for continuity of work, camaraderie, and learning about our community from a robust speaker program. Club approved returning to a fuller schedule (see Bylaws Article 5 for the particulars).
Andy: Reminded that we are not meeting the day after Christmas or the day after New Year's Day.
