The Rotary Club and Waysmeet group started construction of community garden space as part of the Food Panty

The Rotary Club volunteers with a funding grant started work on Garden Beds at Waysmeet in Durham on Saturday May 9.  We were able to repair 1 garden bed and build 9 more.  There is still fencing to install, but planting can begin soon.  We were able to get most of the work done before the rain, although we did get a little wet.  The Club made a funding grant to cover most if not all of the materials.  A Small by efficient team got to work on Saturday, prepared the areas, built the garden beds, installed the soil and made great headway.
